Privacy Policy
Your climbing data is yours. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using BoulderBase.
Last updated: 11/30/2025
1. Information we collect
We collect account details (like email), climb logs, gym data, device info (for security and performance), and feedback you share. We do not collect unnecessary personal data.
2. How we use data
Data powers core features: tracking sends, showing stats, syncing maps, and improving reliability. We may send product updates or important notices to your account email.
3. Sharing
We don’t sell your data. Limited sharing happens with trusted infrastructure providers (like hosting or analytics) who help deliver the service, bound by confidentiality. Public posts (e.g., beta or comments) are visible to other users.
4. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect accounts and data. No system is perfect—please use a strong password and let us know if you notice suspicious activity.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or request removal, we’ll delete or anonymize your data unless we must retain it for legal or security reasons.
6. Your choices
You can access, update, or delete your account data. Some features allow toggling visibility (for example, what you share with the community). Contact us if you need help with a specific request.
7. Cookies and analytics
BoulderBase may use cookies or similar technologies for session management, security, and product insights. You can adjust browser settings to limit cookies, but some features may not work correctly without them.
